• Our chemistry department offers an extensive test menu that includes all general chemistries such as electrolytes, liver enzymes, blood sugar and urine chemistries. Also offered is a specialized menu for a patient’s growing needs including testing for diabetes, lipid levels, fertility, thyroid function and infectious disease. 

• Our hematology section employs traditional impedance, flow cytometry and manual methods to ascertain valuable blood count information. Plus, we’re highly competent in assessing and interpreting results in diagnosing anemia, infection and malignancy. Our team of technologists is extensively trained in morphology and will also perform a manual review of peripheral blood smears when indicated. 

• Our coagulation section allows clinicians to check for coagulopathies, as well as monitor anticoagulant therapy. We have thoroughly vetted our equipment and reagents to determine that our results allow for safe dosing of coumadin and other anticoagulant drugs. 

• In the urinalysis area, we utilize a mix of automated and manual methods to ensure accuracy in all results we report.
